“When you dream, do you dream of the stars?” “Fight because you don’t know how to die quietly!”
I have been doing funky nail varnish to make work outfits more fun so obviously had to do TMA themed ones on the floor of a hotel bathroom! Tried to hint my favourite side characters/avatars so Gertrude, Michael, Gerry, Agnes and Annabelle! (please ignore them being slightly messy it’s only my third time doing patterns on my nails)

[Drawing of a yellow and brown giraffe saying “It’s okay to take care of yourself even if it means making others unhappy. Your survival is more important than pleasing everyone.” in yellow text on a blue speech bubble.]
Gansey touched his lower lip very gently. He lowered his hand, and he said, “Wake up.”
He said it like he had said stop earlier. He said it in a voice Adam had heard countless times, a voice he could never not listen to.

These boys on my bus spent a good 20 minutes dicussing how they cleaned their shoes, like one used toothpaste? I mean honestly I don’t even know how they have that much effort, I’m don’t even have the effort to get out of bed half the time let alone clean my shoes? 😂😂
what can happen in the blink of an eye, in an altercation in the night, in the time between a dream’s beginning and ending – an earthquake can last for fifteen seconds. most devastations are distant. they happen where we cannot see them, cannot know them, cannot quite believe they ever happened because we like to believe buildings will last forever. most devastations are quiet. tragedies happen when we are sleeping, when we are laughing, when the wind blows past us and it does not stutter and we believe all winds are the same. most devastations begin with a phone call. they end with a shaking hand, a ground cracked open, a dream ripped asunder though we like to believe dreams will never die. while you were sleeping, the world broke in two, and you didn’t even know you’d fallen through.
